Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is an English-Lebanese barrister, human rights activist, philanthropist and human rights advocate. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law has achieved international recognition for her work and accomplishments in international human rights law. Her most prominent clients are various nations, including Armenia who are trying to convince an agreement with the Turkish government to recognize Armenia's rights and recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged, and later married with American star George Clooney, instantly making her a household names in pop culture. In the past, she had been known for her success in representing her clients before courts and was well-known. Her expertise ranges from social justice issues and human rights issues to representing corporations in discussions or in court proceedings regarding federal regulations.
